'Tales from the Crypt' resurrected

M. Night Shyamalan is making a rebound via the reception for his latest film, Split, and tv series, Wayward Pines. He is also responsible for the big break of the Duffer Brothers which eventually gave us the 2016 hit, Stranger Things.

This time, Shyamalan will helm the reimagination of the 80s classic, Tales from the Crypt.

The show will still be an anthology expanding to 10 episodes.

Tales From the Crypt ran on HBO from June 10, 1989 to July 19, 1996 and features the animated corpse, the Crypt Keeper. It would then introduce the episode with intentionally hackneyed puns telling stories of creepiness and horror.

American cable channel, TNT will be giving us the chills this Fall.
